Lesson 9 – Pigments - PMU Online Academy

Lesson 9 – Pigments

  • Now we will talk about pigments for DOTS technique and manual shading

For this technique I recommend to use only minerals (iron oxide) pigments, with blond and warm (brown) colors

And the most important ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻AP (Arch peak)and AD (Arch base) SHOULD BE CLOSE TO each other and with the same distance on left and right eyebrow ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻

  • Why?

Because❗❗❗dots and manual shading is DEEP techniques and because of depth they healed 2-3 tones colder ❗❗❗

Here are short videos, how to understand cold or warm pigments

And here is short video about my favorite brand for this technique Sof Tap, I like it because they are very:
- high concentration and it’s good for dots, because after healing tiny dots can disappear with not concentrated pigments and
- they have thick consistency it’s very useful for manual shading

I don’t recommend to use organic or tattoo inks for this techniques, it’s goes deep into the skin and it’s very difficult to remove them after time for me it’s to high risk and after healing colour turn to cold and will continue to turn to colder with this types of pigments
For be saved, I recommend to use minerals based pigments only 👍🏼
